A simple and elegant painted wooden candleholder in British Standard Colour Opaline Green.
The colour of semi-translucent white glass. Opaline glass is also a decorative style of glass made in France from 1800's to the 1890's, though it reached its' peak of popularity during the reign of Napoleon III in the 1850's and 1860's.
This gorgeous candleholder fits dinner or taper candles and has a black pad on the base to protect table surfaces.
Mix and match with other sizes, adding British Coloured Standard's colourful candles for a spectacular tonal effect.
Handmade in India from waste wooden offcuts that would otherwise have been chipped or burnt.

- Stop burning candle when 2cm of any unmelted wax remains
